HOLLYWOOD, California — The latest Ken Block video — Gymkhana Four — has hit the Web crammed with everything from King Kong on a Segway to Bollywood belly dancers. Of course, Block's new H.F.H.V. or Hybrid Function Hoon Vehicle based on the 2011 Ford Fiesta RS WRC car dominates every scene.
The video pays homage to lots of movies, including Jaws and Psycho, as Block shreds tires past the Bates Motel and a movie set with a bobbing mechanical shark. A zombie gnaws on a human limb in one scene as Block and car whiz by. The video is billed as a "Hollywood Megamercial."
Block's latest effort is a masterpiece of product placement and includes plenty of Ford EcoBoost engine glamour shots.
