Seoul (The Korea Herald/ANN) - Popular Korean actor Yoo Seung-ho was injured in a major car accident Friday in Mungyeong, North Gyeongsang Province in South Korea, while heading to a filming set for the television show he stars in, according to reports.
The car that carried Yoo lost control on a highway due to heavy rainfall. After the accident, Yoo was transferred to a hospital in Seoul and was reportedly suffering from fractures around his eyes.
Reports said Yoo is not seriously injured but his fashion stylist was sent to the intensive care unit, reports say.
After receiving first aid, the actor insisted on going through with the day's schedule, but the show's representatives advised him to get further treatment. The show's staff canceled the plans for the day.
Yoo currently stars SBS' new drama program "Warrior Baek Dong-soo." The show's team said that the absence of Yoo may delay the production of next week's episodes.
